Argie Gathigia

Argie is a seasoned thought leader with a proven track record in empowering young people and local communities. Sh brings over 6 years of experience in strategic planning, training, facilitation, advocacy, and end-to-end program design and management. With a deep understanding of critical issues affecting young people, she has successfully led and implemented initiatives to promote gender equality and youth empowerment locally and globally. She has been keen on amplifying girls’ and young women’s voices at the UN Commission Status of Women, as a Change Maker with the United Nations Foundation and as a Youth Panellist with the EU Youth Empowerment Fund.

Argie excels in building strong teams, fostering partnerships, and securing funding to drive organisational growth and impact. As an expert in human-centered design and systems thinking , she has been pivotal in leading several impactful initiatives with different youth-led community-based and global organisations. Committed to making a difference, she leverages her expertise to create opportunities for growth and development among the different communities she works with. With a passion for bridging knowledge gaps and promoting social inclusion, she aspires to continue designing programs that empower and uplift young people across Africa
